Received a call from Akinika debt collection, apparently working for TV Licensing. Bit annoying really, not something I expected today.

I keep getting calls from this number roughly every two weeks. When I do pick up, it’s just dead air on the line. Quite baffling!

I reckon this number might belong to a debt collection agency called Akinika, which used to go by Igor. I’ve noticed their regular contact number is 01772 220504, and I often get calls from this and the number above pretty close together. So, if you have any unpaid bills, be careful about picking up.

I picked up the phone to a rather concerning call from someone who identified themselves as a debt collection agency, eager to run through some security checks. I wasn't comfortable sharing any information since I didn't recognise them. They mentioned a letter would be arriving in the post and suggested I give them a ring back once it showed up. Honestly, I've got no clue what this is regarding.

There's nothing but silence when I pick up, and the phone keeps ringing at the most absurd hours. It's quite unsettling, to be honest.
