I got a call from a woman speaking in very poor English, claiming she was from the UK’s Telephone Preference Service. She said starting tomorrow, I wouldn’t get any more annoying calls from the UK or abroad. She asked me to confirm my phone number, then handed me over to someone else who said I had to pay £59 as a one-off fee to stop the calls. I told them I could just ignore and block their calls instead. Definitely another scam, watch out!
