My aged mother picked up this phone call, and the chap on the other end requested her bank information. Thankfully, she had the sense not to share any of it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with some unwanted phone preference service, and they asked me for my bank info. Sounds dodgy to me.

I had the exact same thing happen but it was a guy this time. The only call I didn't want was from him! He just ended the call when I told him I don’t take unwanted calls. Seems like he was up to no good, probably a scam or something.
