I’ve just had my second call this morning from a number showing a local code, 017683. It wasn’t the exact same number as the first one I got earlier but the message was exactly the same, down to the amounts on the card. Like the previous one - something like 017683 41923 - the automated voice claimed to be from Bank Security, saying I’ve got £300 on a card with Amazon and £1100 with some overseas bank. They also made me press “1” to cancel or “2” to speak to an agent - yeah right, no way I’m falling for it. I’ve marked the number as suspicious.
