I got a call from someone claiming I had life insurance with Scottish Widows, which I never did. When I told them it was rubbish and a scam, they actually got quite rude.

Got a call earlier claiming it was from BT, saying my phone and internet were at risk of being cut off. They wanted me to press some buttons to confirm or something. Absolutely no way I'd fall for that! I’ve had a few calls like this over the last week, always the same story but different voices each time. What baffles me is that this isn’t some overseas scammer, so you’d think BT, with all their resources and tech, could track down and stop these lot. Maybe they’re too busy blowing our bills on pointless ads instead!
