I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent who started off quite courteous; however, as our chat progressed, her tone shifted dramatically to one that was quite aggressive and insistent. She had a few queries she wanted to pose and shockingly, she already possessed my entire name, address, and postcode. It gave me the impression that her company was gathering personal information from individuals.

Sounds like one of those automated robo calls. I've been tied up sorting out stuff for my late mum, so I've been getting loads of unknown numbers popping up. Normally, I don't pick up calls unless I know who it is or have checked the number first. When I did answer, there was no one on the other end.
