This company is a nightmare! I’ve never used them and have no plans to, but they keep ringing me up nonstop. I keep telling them to stop calling and to take me off their list because I’m not interested. Yet, just this week, I've had about 9 voicemails from them (thankfully I’ve now blocked their number because of the constant pestering). Absolutely maddening!

Got a call from some dodgy call centre. The guy had a really strong Asian accent but said his name was Steve. He asked for me by name, but he used an address I haven’t lived at in over a decade. Said he was from my internet provider, but clearly not, since he had the wrong address. Totally a scam. Blocked straight away.

Just got a phone call from 01767 843053 - the bloke said his name was Michael but I could tell straight away he was calling from an Indian or Asian call centre. He claimed he wasn’t selling anything and said he worked for Verso Group, which apparently does surveys. But really, they take the info you give them and pass it on to firms like banks, energy providers, phone and broadband companies around the UK. I told him that surveys bore me silly (which is true) and that I wasn’t interested in carrying on the chat. Then I just hung up.

I've been getting loads of these scam calls lately. What I did was put a message on both my landline and mobile saying I only pick up genuine calls because of all the cold callers. I ask them to leave a message and a number if it's important, and I’ll call back if it’s real. Since doing this, the amount of annoying calls has dropped loads. Seems like these pesky callers don’t like being ignored and they finally realise they’re just wasting their time, not mine.

At the time I'm penning this, it's astonishing to note that this number has been looked up more than 800 times! I reckon it's highly likely to be one of those dodgy call centres operating overseas, using a fake number to pester individuals about a fictitious accident-clearly targeting the more vulnerable, especially our elderly folks, in a bid to swindle them out of their hard-earned money.
