A chap with an Indian accent, purporting to be from BT, contacted me, insisting that my internet account was under attack from Mountain View, California. He went on to request that I install some sort of remote assistance application, akin to TeamViewer. Quite the charmer, really, but I’ve caught wind that this is a notorious scam. Stay vigilant, everyone!
