It's utterly infuriating! Without fail, at 8:30 every single morning - weekends included! - my phone rings with these ridiculous calls. They're clearly dodgy and nothing but spam. I've finally had enough and decided to disconnect the house phone altogether!

SAFE! It’s the RSPB, I signed up for their bird watching event before. Didn’t know it was from them at first so I saved the number on my phone now. I called it myself and it confirmed it was them, they said they’d ring you back or you can press 9 to opt out of their calls.

Seems it was the RSPB calling about the bird watch. I missed their call and had a look here before calling them back. Once I saw it was from the RSPB, I remembered it was the follow-up call they mentioned when I signed up for the bird watch thing.
