Got a call this morning, 12th August at around 9:26 from 01766 548669. The caller had a womans voice, sounded like it could be American, but it was a prerecorded message warning about Amazon charges taking £300+ and even over £1000 off my card. I picked up because the number showed my own area code 01766, otherwise I wouldn’t normally bother with unknown numbers. Really annoying people, these scammers. Just a few days ago, I had another from +49 6381 433296, somewhere in Kusel, Rhineland-Palatinate or something like that - I didn’t answer that one though.

So, this number 01766 548669 rang me at 9.26am on the 12th of August. I tried dialling it back with 141 before the number, but it seems like it doesn’t exist or isn’t recognised at all. Bit strange really.
