Got a call from 01764 89240, some supposed rep from my internet provider but they never said their name. The bloke had a posh Indian accent, so I just told him in Hindi to "go bother your goats and chickens." Seems like they’re actually calling from somewhere in India, maybe Kolkata, using Skype to ring UK numbers. The number they give back looks like it’s from Crieff here in Scotland.

Got a call from some woman with a strange accent, just kept asking, "Are you hearing me?" Had no clue who she was.

Got a call from someone saying they were Virgin and that my IP address was being used by others. They told me to open a box at the bottom left and type "run". I hung up straight away and decided to check this website. Happy I did, feels dodgy.

Got a call this morning around 9:20 from a woman who sounded Asian, she just said "hello" and then ended the call. We've had quite a few calls lately about our internet supposedly being down, so we usually don't bother picking up. Now I’m wise to not answering any calls from 01764 numbers. What a complete disgrace. Some bloke with an Asian accent rang me up pretending to be from BT’s “security” team, saying my internet was hacked or something. As soon as he reckoned I wasn’t falling for his nonsense, he started getting nasty. Definitely block these muppets.
