Someone called me saying they were from Openreach, but I’m not too sure if it was legit or not. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from some number saying it was BT about my broadband being hacked. I checked with BT directly and they told me they never call about stuff like that. So yeah, this number seems pretty dodgy.

Got three calls today, all from different numbers, some bloke with a funny accent said he was from BT. Definitely steer clear of these ones!

I rang them but left a message, which they didn’t get back to. So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

A few days back I got a call from someone saying they were with BT and there was an issue with our internet. Just now, the same number rang again - not from the UK either. I didn’t even bother, just hung up straight away. Same kind of scam as what others have said here.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach saying there was a problem with my router. It was pretty clear they were calling from an overseas call centre though, so I just hung up straight away.
