Some bloke rang claiming to be from BT. He had me look at the lights on my router and then started asking what gadgets I use for the internet. I was already feeling a bit suspicious, especially since his South Asian accent was really thick and I barely caught what he was saying. I told him the status of the router, then he told me to switch on my laptop. When I asked why, he said it was to check my settings. I told him I'd actually got a BT appointment booked for later about something else and I'd raise the issue then. Right after that, he just cut the call!
