They called me multiple times first thing this morning, but I chose not to pick up.

I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be from EE, talking about a “potential discount on my existing contract or a possible upgrade.” It’s a real shame, though, as I’m not actually with EE! They certainly won’t pull the wool over my eyes! My advice? Keep your bank details to yourself and steer clear of these types of calls!

Got a call from this number saying they were from Currys but on a different line. I just fed them a bunch of made-up info and they seemed alright with it. Then they tried to get my bank info. I told them straight up I knew it was a scam since I’d given them rubbish details from the start.

Just got my second call today from some Indian call centre, saying they’ll help me get compensation for my accident. I had to put the first caller on hold while I messed about with the second one a bit. Managed to get this one to call me back tomorrow, then went back to stringing the first one along. Proper scam, watch out, it’s dodgy as hell.

The number showed up flagged as possible fraud so I just didn’t pick up. But they kept ringing me like three more times right after. The last call barely rang once and then they hung up before I could reject it again. So now I’ve got a missed call from them on my phone.

Got a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent who was going on about some new iPhone model. Haven't used an iPhone for ages and no plans to switch back. Couldn't clearly catch what she was saying because there was loads of background noise. The call ID showed it might be a scam as soon as I picked up. I told her I wasn’t interested in whatever she was pitching and asked her not to ring me again. Then I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone with a really strong Indian accent, hard to understand what they were saying. They said they were from “Khariff PC Wool” or something like that, which I guess was supposed to be Currys PC World. There was loads of noise in the background, sounded like a busy call centre. They asked if I was interested in purchasing the newest iPhone. I didn’t bother, just blocked the number.
