got a call saying it was bt internet warning me my connection was gonna get cut off cos others were using it. i dont even have a bt line tho. the automated message said press 1 to fix it or 2 to disconnect. i pressed 2 but nothing happened so i just ended the call.

For the past few days, we've had loads of calls on our landline from numbers starting with 01759, 01287, 01622, 08093, 019106, 019328, 012866, 01263 and more. Most of the time, if you pick up, they claim your internet is at risk or your IP address needs updating, or that TalkTalk is shutting down your connection. I keep blocking them on my phone but they just ring from a slightly different number each time. What can I possibly do? It’s becoming really annoying having them call all the time.

Been gettin calls on my mobile that I didnt ask for. This is a brand new phone number and ive only shared it with close family and mates, so it seems like the network provider must have leaked my number some how. Cant think of any other way this company would have found it.
