Got a call from that TV insurance lot today :-) I told the bloke, Joseph or whatever his name was, to shove off and ring someone else. He wasn’t having any of it and told me to buzz off! --)

So, I got another call from this company called Homesmart claiming they could cut costs on my TV maintenance plan. The woman on the phone, who had a strong Asian accent, couldn’t even get my name right and kept calling my address the postcode instead. I decided to see how long they'd keep trying before hanging up! Normally I just mute the phone and let them go on; let them waste their time, not mine. Then she said I was overpaying and I asked for the exact amount I was paying. That’s when I just got silence followed by the dial tone. Typical!

Got a call from this number but they didn’t say anything or leave a voicemail.

just got a ring from a firm called homesmart claiming they could lower the costs on my tv service plan or something like that. the woman on the phone, her accent was quite thick and she couldn't even say my name right, plus she called my actual address the postcode - bit silly really. i figured i'd let them run on for a bit to see when they'd hang up first. usually i just mute the call and let them yap since it's their phone bill anyway. when she started saying i was overpaying, i asked her what exactly i was paying, and wouldn't you know it, all i got was a dial tone after that! typical.
