Got a call with some robotic voice saying my card was used for some Amazon purchase and an overseas bank transfer - total rubbish.

Got a call from this number on my home phone. The message was pre-recorded, claiming that a £500 purchase on Amazon using my Visa card was fraudulent. They said if I wanted to know more or to stop the charge, I should hit 1. Pretty obvious dodge since I don’t even own a Visa card! I just ended the call and blocked the number, it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call from this number saying there was some dodgy stuff going on with my card; they claimed there was a £300 purchase on Amazon and a big overseas transfer over £1000. Neither of those things have actually happened, so it seemed pretty fishy to me, likely just someone wasting my time.
