Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there was a virus on my PC. I have four computers, so I asked which one was infected. The caller gave me some licence number and told me to check it while he waited. I told him it wasnt worth it since he’d just woken me up and it’d take a good 10 minutes to get all my machines going and check. Kinda creepy they already had my full name, address and postcode though. I’ve marked the number as dodgy and blocked it straightaway.
