Got a call from Monet group, told them I had no idea who they were n they just hung up. When I rang the number back, it was just dead no answer.

Got a call about joining some sort of Money Club that offers discounts on pretty much everything. They already had all my info like address, phone number and email, but when they asked for my bank details to start a direct debit after a 4 week £5 trial, I got suspicious and didn’t give it to them. Felt really iffy at that point, so I blocked the number. Fingers crossed giving out my address and email won’t lead to any hassle, but it’s always so hard to tell if someone’s legit or just trying to scam you these days.

Its crazy how these scammers keep trying to trick us into giving our card info and stuff, proper con artists. If you know your way around a computer, tracking where they’re based isn’t too hard. Then you can report them to trading standards, coz they often target elderly people or folks who get confused quick and get them to blurt out their bank details and who knows what else. It’s really awful and definitely needs reporting.

Received a call about joining some groupon membership, they asked for my address, sort code and account details which I ended up giving. They sent a welcome pack through the post and set up a direct debit to take £5 for a trial month, which would then roll into a £125 annual fee. Might not be the best deal out there, but everything seemed above board and legit, or at least that's how they appeared. I stopped the direct debit straight away, wasn’t really bothered about it, just thought I’d help the caller earn a bit of commission.

Got a call from someone saying they were discount shopping deals with trade rates and kept mentioning Groupon. When they asked to verify my address, they had an old one I lived at before. I said no way, and they kept pushing me to confirm it. Ended up hanging up. Really weird experience. Stay clear!

Picked up the phone and a woman's voice said, "you sound a bit worn out" before hanging up. I had an encounter with a woman who introduced herself as Paula, and she seemed to know an awful lot about me. She brought up Groupon and then attempted to get my banking information. Honestly, she was quite convincing and nearly had me fooled. Thankfully, I managed to say that I wasn't comfortable sharing my bank details. Just a heads up for everyone to stay vigilant!

My phone rang and the number showed up as from Slough. It stopped ringing after just a few seconds, maybe 4 or 5. I checked here to find out if it was some kind of spam or telemarketer and decided to block the number now.

This number kept ringing me repeatedly, and at first, I just let it slide. Eventually, I picked up, only to be bombarded with some money-off voucher spiel. I told her to get lost, but instead of taking the hint, she upped her game and kept calling back. Each time, I'd tell her to shove off, and that just encouraged more calls! I've finally had enough and blocked the number for good!

Got a call from 01753 441520, a bloke on the line who just wouldn’t say who he was. I asked thrice and still no answer. When I told him to take me off their list, he hung up straight away. Seems like a classic cold call to me. Isn’t stuff like this banned now? Whoever’s behind this should really be held responsible - these calls are nothing but a nuisance. After reading loads of other complaints, it looks like these calls could be more than just annoying, maybe even risky!
