Got a call from someone saying it was about a holiday package I'd taken within the past couple of years. I asked for more details but they refused to give any. I mentioned my number is on the TPS, yet they insisted it wasn’t a sales call and claimed I’d given consent. When I said I definitely hadn’t, they suggested maybe I’d done it by accident. As someone who works in marketing myself, I’m certain I wouldn’t have agreed to that. I ended the call but left it ringing a bit longer before the caller hung up. Then, to my surprise, they called again, waited for me to pick up, and immediately hung up without even checking if it was a good time to talk.
