I've received two calls from this number, and they seemed to know my name, which is rather unsettling. I made it clear that unsolicited calls are unlawful in my case, and I requested to be taken off their mailing list. The chap on the other end claimed I was unaware of his purpose. I wasn’t shy in telling him to take a hike! After that, I decided to give the number a ring back, but it was all rather chaotic. Someone on the line mentioned that if I’d worked, I could be due £8,000. The noise was such a bother that I struggled to catch what he was saying, but he did offer an apology. I reiterated my wish to be removed from their list.

Later that day, I got another call with the same story but from a different number. Suspicious for sure!
