Got a call from 01753, but when I checked the voicemail, it was just them ending the call. Didn’t pick up ’cause I was sure it was a scam. Haven’t blocked the number though - I guess that’s how they figure out if you’re real or a robot. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of dodgy calls from abroad and random places, feels like my info’s been shared around by different scam groups.

Got a call from her today. I said I’m already on a contract, don’t need anything. Mentioned I had a call a few days ago from a number like this one trying to sell gas and electric, and she goes she’s from O2. I asked her where she’s ringing from and she said South Africa! But the caller ID says Slough, so something’s fishy.

My wife got a call from this number on her mobile but didn't pick up, lucky for me we have 'who-called[###][###]' to check who it was. She’s blocked it now. For my landline, I got one of those dog whistles that I used to blow when annoying calls came through! Nowadays, I use CallSafe and it’s brilliant because I only pick up the calls I want. I think BT and Talktalk give this service for free, probably all networks do these days.

About a week ago, I filled out some survey for TESCO online and, quite foolishly, gave them my mobile number which I hardly ever use since it doesn’t get signal at my place. Soon after, I started getting calls from London and Slough. Normally, only close family have my number and their names actually show up, so now I just block any number I don’t recognise. I’ve had like 8 calls from Slough so far, from three different but connected numbers.

They keep calling me non stop. On 3rd October 2018 about 7:35pm, I picked up just to find out who it was. They already knew my full name and said they were from O2, asking about my landline and if I was using pay as you go. They mentioned calls might be recorded, but I hung up right after.
