So got a call from a bloke claiming to be with 02, saying there was no need for me to check or open my account. When I asked him how I could be sure it was really 02, he just said "I can tell you use their network". Sounded fishy as hell and he kept cutting me off every time I tried to get a word in. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number. Weird thing was, the caller ID showed an official 02 number!

He claimed to be calling on behalf of O2 but wouldn't tell me how he got my number.

Got a call from a lady who spoke really broken English, could barely understand what she was trying to say. Made me think it was some sort of scam or a telemarketer from abroad. Talk about confusing!

I got a call from a woman who obviously wasn't a native English speaker. She kept asking me my name over and over, then wanted to speak to someone called John. I told her there's nobody by that name in my family. After a moment, she awkwardly blurted out 'is called John' or something like that. Really odd call!
