Got a call from this number saying loads of money had been withdrawn from my bank. They told me to press 2 to sort it out or something. I rang my bank straight away, but there was no issue at all. Watch out, this seems dodgy.

Got a call earlier today but they didn’t bother to leave any sort of message.

I received a curious phone call from someone stating they were representing Fusion Marketing. They inquired if I wouldn’t mind answering a few harmless questions for their marketing research. Oddly enough, they asked if I was with Scottish Power and proceeded to delve into questions about my existing energy tariff. I'm rather suspicious and wonder if this is a phishing attempt.

I'm busy at work and I never leave voicemails. I usually ignore calls from numbers I don't recognise. After seeing what you all have said, I'll just block them straight away.

Thankfully, after I put someone on my block list, my phone stays completely silent if they try to ring me. I've always been curious about what kind of signal their phone shows when they're blocked - does anyone have an idea?

I reckon this is just annoying advertising - I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I got a call from someone who said they worked for Fusion Marketing. They asked a few general questions, nothing personal, about market research stuff. Then they wanted to know if Scottish Power could discuss my energy bills with me. I told them I’m fine with my current supplier and they didn’t push any more. The whole thing was polite and only lasted about three minutes.

I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, so I just ignored it. Most of the time it’s either a scam or one of those annoying cold callers anyway.

I just got a phone call and picked up since I was working nearby, assuming it had to do with work. The guy mentioned something like ‘Fusion Marketing’ and started asking if I usually read a newspaper in the morning and who my utilities supplier is. He kept going on about Scottish Power, so I guess they funded this bit of market research. It was pretty noisy in the background, like a busy call centre, but to be honest, the chap called ‘Sam’ was quite courteous and didn’t come across pushy at all.

I rang the number back and got some automated message from this company called ‘i love offers’. No idea who they are, and I’m pretty sure I’ve never signed up for anything with them.

Honestly, I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If it’s really urgent, they’ll drop a voicemail. It’s that easy. Honestly, hope whoever keeps calling me gets struck down with covid or something.

Got a call the other day and it was clearly a telemarketer trying to sell something. Felt like one of those annoying sales calls right away.

I wasn’t quite sure what the point of the call was since the lady had a pretty thick Indian accent. She mentioned it wasn’t a sales pitch and wanted to ask me some questions about my household. I just told her I wasn’t interested and hung up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Fusion, said it wasn’t a sales pitch just some questions about my home. The weird part was he mentioned an address I moved out of like seven years ago!

Had this bloke ring me up, sounded like he had an Indian accent, and asked if I was some ‘Shemima Begam’. I said, “No mate, you’ve got the wrong number,” trying to catch my breath, haha. Then he asked if I was the one who pays the bills, and I told him nah, it’s Shemima, but she’s abroad right now. After that, he just ended the call.

I tried ringing the number back after the voicemail said, "Thanks for calling, I love my office." I don't know anyone down in Plymouth, so pretty sure it’s either a cold call or some kinda scam.

Got a ring in the afternoon, they started by asking if I owned my home or if I was renting. Then they went on about who supplies my energy and how I usually settle the bills. Towards the finish, they brought up Scottish Power and nicely checked if I wanted them to get in touch to maybe help cut down my energy costs.
