Got a call from someone claiming to be from the pension advice agency. When I asked what government department they were with, they just said they were an "agency." After that, things got a bit weird. From what I understand, with pensions, you’re not supposed to take marketing calls from outside companies - the person should start the review themselves.

Got a missed call from something called the pension advisory agency. When I called back, it turned out to be some kind of sales pitch. Pretty sure they just try to connect you with a financial advisor who's likely working on commission. Don’t believe this has any connection with the official government pension services. Best to avoid it.
