Missed the call, no idea who it was. Possibly one of those auto diallers. Got loads of similar calls recently, mostly about pensions, so it might be linked to that. Feels like some dodgy old marketing list is still being passed around? Very dodgy, reminds me a bit of Glengarry.

I chose not to pick up the phone when this number rang. My application flagged it as a potential scam, so I played it safe. They didn’t bother to leave any voicemail, either.

Had a lovely lady call me about free life insurance. She said the premiums get paid back if you never make a claim. I just thought, how would a dead person make a claim? I'm over 70, so apparently I don’t fit their criteria. Told her that and she vanished from their calls. Just say you’re past 70 and you’ll be off their list in no time. Simple!
