Pension assessment company total con, claimed to be from the government, then asked for my pension info, saying it was to assist with some updates. Next thing, they wanted to send a free letter but insisted on scheduling a courier visit to talk about my pension. Complete load of rubbish and fraudsters. I informed my pension provider straight away. Always ring your mobile first to check your landline’s free before answering strange calls.

Got a call from 01752545773 this arvo, was waiting for another call so answered straight away. As soon as I picked up, it went dead silent. Stayed on the line for a bit trying to hear something but no reply, dead air for like a minute. Then I heard some weird electronic beeps in a staccato rhythm, so it must’ve been some sort of automated dialler. Hung up after that.
