Interestingly, I noticed that this particular number has tried to get in touch with me as well, yet it didn’t even disrupt my peace by ringing at all! Quite the handy device, I'd say.

Had a ring from someone claiming to be from the 'Home Efficiency Service' about some home upgrades. I asked if I’d requested the call, but they said no, that it was a commercial call. Got a call from this number but they just dropped the call. I phoned back since it looked like a local one, then got a message saying the number doesn’t exist. Even though we’re on the TPS, we still get loads of these annoying calls. It’s so frustrating, I’m thinking about just ditching the landline altogether. This number rang me at about 11 this morning. I picked up but there was complete silence before the line just went dead. Seems like one of those bot calls to me. I’m sure I’ll get another call soon, probably with some robotic voice trying to sell me junk or telling me I can claim cash for something I don’t even qualify for. It’s so frustrating - why isn’t anything being done about these calls? Loads of folks must be getting hassled and having their time thrown away.

Got a call from this number around 6:25 this evening. It rang a couple of times then just stopped. Obviously hoping you'll ring back or something. I've had calls before from people pretending to offer energy grants, total nonsense. Honestly, don't fall for these scams! I agree with others here, it’s so frustrating and really shows how useless the TPS scheme is. For a whole year I kept getting annoying calls from people with Indian accents, claiming my computer had issues and they needed to fix it. Even those got past TPS! This one’s from a Plymouth area code, FYI.

However, when I pressed for details like the person’s name or the date of the incident, he refused to divulge any of that information, stating it was all ‘confidential’. Received a call at 18:26 on the 4th of August, 2015. It was a silent call. I traced the number back with 1471. Ever since I acquired this phone number from BT, I've been inundated with calls intended for a 'Mr Pearson'. I reached out to BT for assistance, and their grand 'solution' was to gift ME a 'problem number'! So, essentially, I’m expected to shell out even more of my hard-earned cash just to block these nuisance calls! I made my sentiments abundantly clear and I plan to change my number posthaste!
