he wanted to speak to me using my last name. i told him to say who he was. he asked me twice if my day had been good. i didnt reply to that but kept asking who he was. then he said he was calling from countryw and said he had a free service for me, saying he was just being polite. then he suddenly hung up.

I got a call on my home phone from a bloke speaking with a proper English accent. He wanted to speak to me but used my married surname. Before I could tell him that I don’t go by that name any longer, he just snapped the line off. After checking out this site and reading about the number, I’m actually relieved that he ended the call when he did!

I received a call from someone inquiring whether I was familiar with this thing called "Water Blow" or something similar. Given our region's known struggle with tempestuous winds and frequent showers, it seemed a bit peculiar. The caller mentioned they conduct outdoor assessments to gauge how well a property's exterior is faring. Strangely, he noted that this service was exclusively for folks aged between 50 and 80. When he probed if I fell into that age bracket, I opted not to divulge any information, prompting him to abruptly end the conversation.

I got a call asking for Mr Amott, but then they suddenly said it was a wrong number - bit fishy if you ask me. Anyway, I just blocked them. On the bright side, they sounded British!

Got a call from some bloke saying he wanted to inspect my walls for thermal efficiency due to wind-driven rain, which was a bit odd! Never respond to sales calls on the phone, trust me. We're on the TPS list and yet these people just carry on regardless. I've blocked their number now.
