Someone called saying they were from BT and that my internet was slow and they could sort it out. I asked them who my broadband provider was, and they said Virgin. Obviously not right, so I told them it sounded like a scam. Then they just ended the call.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise and figured it was probably a scam, so I didn't pick up. The strange thing is, they never left a voicemail. Over the past week, I've been getting maybe one or two nuisance calls daily from all sorts of different numbers, some even from abroad. Seems like there's some sort of list going around, targeting random folks to bug and annoy them nonstop.

Got a call about issues with my Sky broadband. I told them I’m not a Sky customer, then they switched to saying they were from Virgin. I denied that too, and then the guy just called me a smart-arse and started yelling swear words at me. Someone should really put a stop to this kind of behaviour.

I answered the phone thinking it might be a joke, but it really wasn’t funny at all. The person on the other end just started cursing at me out of nowhere and then hung up straight away. Weird and pretty rude!

They mentioned they were calling from BT, but I’m not so sure about that. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

I do night shifts so I need to keep my phone on, especially because my parent is really poorly. But these calls keep disturbing my sleep. Blocking one number doesn’t fix it coz they just call from another one. It’s so frustrating.

Received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be from Openreach, insisting they needed to hop onto my router for a speed check. Absolute scam! Beware!
