Someone called saying they were from Spark Energy, trying to sell me electric and gas services. Funny thing is, a quick Google search shows Spark Energy actually folded back in 2018.

Even though I've flagged them with Ofcom and the TPS, the calls just won't stop. Probably because I've picked up a few times, they reckon this is a real number, so they just keep phoning me back.

When I picked up the phone, it was just dead silent with a dial tone, but then when I tried ringing back, it said the number didn’t exist at all.

I didn’t pick up because the number showed up flagged for possible scam on my phone. I’ve since blocked it but from what I’ve heard, these callers just switch numbers and keep going again.

I've gotten two calls from the same number today. Each time, I pick up and there's complete silence for a few seconds, then I can hear what sounds like a busy call centre background before the call just cuts off. Not sure if it's some kind of spam or something else.
