About 10 minutes ago I got a call on my landline from some Asian guy claiming to be from Amazon. He never bothered to ask my name, just went straight to asking if I’d looked at my emails. I told him no, and he just kept telling me to check them right away. When I said I couldn't, he rudely said he needed the call. Honestly, that was so cheeky and disrespectful. Surely no one in their right mind falls for this kind of scammer nonsense 😑😑

Got a call from this number today, someone said they were from Amazon security and asked if I’d purchased anything for £700 lately. Didn’t say much else and then just hung up. Pretty suspicious.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon. We’re on the TPS list, so annoyed they still try this stuff.

Some bloke said he was from Amazon. As soon as I asked if he was after my bank or card info, he suddenly went silent. Figured he wasn’t really interested in chatting with me, so I just hung up.

I picked up and all I could hear was some background chatter like a call centre, but then the line just went quiet.

Claimed to be calling from the Amazon Security Team, but it turned out to be nothing but a con job.

Got a ring from 01748835391 earlier claiming to be from Amazon. The bloke was tryin' to get me to let him into my computer. I played along for a bit, then he asked me to press some keys so he could “show” me stuff supposedly bought using my account by another person. Once I told him straight up he was a con artist, he just dropped the call. Watch out for this one!

Got a call saying there was an issue with my Amazon account and they asked if I could log in to sort it out. Honestly, there’s a better chance of me landing on the moon than my missus being able to link a laptop to our Amazon account. Best to steer clear of this one!
