Caller said they were from Amazon security, but I reckon its just another scam. Had to block and move on from those BT calls, proper dodgy!

got a call again from a number with a richmond area code, and it was one of those scammy automated messages saying it was bt and about my internet service. honestly, dont even bother pressing any buttons, just hang up & block the number straight away. i tried ringing back once to ask them to stop, but no luck with that. if you want these annoying calls to stop, the best thing is to report them to the met police through action fraud, and also get your phone and internet company to block the numbers.

I got a call from 01748835386 warning me that my internet was about to be cut off. The bloke on the line struggled with his English, so I had to ask him to repeat himself. Pretty sure it was some kind of scam.

i’ve been getting loads of recorded calls from some company claiming to be bt, saying my internet is about to be cut off. since they’re not my actual provider, i just hang up, but it’s really annoying. i worry someone less careful might fall for it and let them into their computer, that’d be a nightmare!

Curious, i hit 1 to chat with support, and as expected it was the typical Indian accent. Told them to stop calling me or something along those lines.

I got a call on my landline the other day and as soon as I answered, some automated voice with an accent told me that my BT internet was about to get cut off. It then told me to press 1 to get in touch with BT. I’m pretty sure if you actually press it you’d end up ringing a premium number. Avoid it!

Loads of times now, I've had these robo calls from BT claiming my internet will be cut off soon. Thing is, they’re not even my internet provider, so I just hang up. It’s pretty annoying though, cos I worry that an elderly person might actually fall for it and let them get into their computer. Tried calling the number back once but got nothing.
