Got a call from this number early this morning, about 6am. A lady with a really heavy Indian accent was talking about some order I supposedly made online. Honestly, I could barely make out what she was saying. I told her I was sleeping then and started thinking it was one of those scam calls. She insisted she was from a proper company, but I couldn’t catch the name. So, I just hung up and fired up my computer to look the number up here, which confirmed my doubts.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT Internet. There was an automated voice saying I was doing something illegal online and needed to follow some steps to talk to a rep. Definitely sounded dodgy.

Here we go again with that old trick - they pretend to be from Amazon security, saying someone's trying to take £300 out of your account. Pretty sure it's just a scam from them!

Some bloke rang claiming to be from Amazon Security, asking if I’d made a purchase the night before. At first, I thought it was a scam, so I said no, then quickly changed it to maybe yes. He reckoned there was a transaction for around £699.99, and that they’d emailed me about it. He asked if I’d checked my inbox yet. I said no, even though I actually had. Then he said he’d hold the line while I had a look. I told him I’d sort it out on my own and hung up. Suddenly he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, wanted to talk to my husband and told me to check his emails while they stayed on the phone. I wasn’t having it and hung up instead. My husband had a look and everything seemed fine. Just another dodgy scam attempt.

Got a call from this number a minute ago. There was loads of background noise, so they asked if I could hear them alright. I think I might have said yes without really meaning to... Hopefully it wasn’t one of those scams where you're not supposed to say "yes". They wanted my email to send something over, but I just said no and hung up straight away.
