I just got a call from some recorded voice saying Amazon is renewing my subscription or something. Problem is, I’ve never even had an Amazon account! Total scam if you ask me.

Got a recorded call saying it was from Amazon about topping up my Prime account - totally clueless since I’ve never had an Amazon account. That rang about an hour ago and just now got the exact same message from a different number, 02083 707869. Looks like these numbers are being used for scams. They want you to press one, but if you do, you end up footing the bill for a premium rate call somewhere. Best thing to do is just ignore and hang up. Honestly, with all the tech we’ve got nowadays, I don’t get why no one is cracking down on these scammers. Seems like too much effort for them or something.
