Got a phone call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying my internet and landline were going to be cut off for good. They told me to press 1 to stop the disconnection or 2 to go ahead with cancelling service. I just hung up straight away and then reported it to BT. This must be the tenth time in about 6 or 7 weeks I’ve had this same call. I even tried calling back the number they used but got a message saying the number isn’t recognised. BT have confirmed it’s not them making these calls.
