Had a call from someone called Alan, sounded kind and had an Asian accent. He was talking about some TV repair insurance or something like that. He somehow seemed a bit too convincing, had loads of info about me already. When he began asking for my bank info, I just knew it was best to hang up there and then. Definitely didn’t feel right!

Television repair insurance sounded rather enticing, didn’t it? The gentleman on the line seemed to have an uncanny amount of my personal information, so I decided to humour him for a while. However, as soon as he brought up my bank sort code, I swiftly realised it was time to hang up!
