I got this robocall pretending to be from TalkTalk, saying my account was gonna be shut down. They asked me to press 1 to talk to someone. I suspected it was dodgy, but I pressed 1 anyway. Towards the end, the person on the line started asking for my personal info. Definitely a scam.

Got a recorded message a moment ago claiming to be from TalkTalk, warning that our internet would be cut off. They told me to press 1 to chat with someone. Definitely sounded fishy.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. The person said they’re from BT and warned me that my internet would be cut off within a day because of some ‘illegal activity’ on my router. I pressed 1 like they told me, and then I got through to someone who said there’s an issue with my router and asked to access my computer. That’s when I ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
