7 monthsMy phone showed it as sketchy, so I just ignored the call.7 monthsSome bloke called saying he was from the PPI Claims Dept and that I was owed more than £2000 from an old mortgage. I asked him for the company’s name and full address, but I only caught Unit 1, nothing else, like street or postcode E7 7SJ. He asked for my dob and which bank account to pay the money into. When I said just send a cheque, he said no, they only pay into bank accounts. He claimed he only needed the bank's name, no other info, which sounded dodgy since how could they pay without full details? Definitely a scam trying to get my banking info.PPI Claims Dept7 monthsClassic phone scam pretending to be from Three mobile network.7 monthsGot a call about some mortgage payout scam, they claimed I’m due some compensation after paying off my loan.
