Got a call about internet troubles, but it was one of those automated scam messages. Totally dodgy.

Got a call from BT around late morning saying my internet might get cut off soon. Definitely a scam, the number showed up as blocked so I just hung up straight away.

Got a prerecorded call from BT Internet as well but it just ended abruptly. I’ve called BT in the past about stuff like this and they said they don’t send messages like that. Best to just block the number, I reckon.

Got a dodgy call earlier from what sounded like BT, but it was definitely some American pre-recorded thing. They said they'd turn off my internet unless I hit 1 or 2 to sort it out. Be careful, don’t let anyone get caught out by these scams!

Had this guy on the phone with a strong Indian accent, sounded exactly like one of those call centre agents or maybe a dodgy app pretending to be one. He was jibber jabbering about my computer getting loads of spam or something. Kept pushing me to jump on my computer so he could ‘fix’ it - felt like a total scam from the start.

Somebody called pretending to be BT, said my internet would get cut off in a day. They had an American accent, which sounded really weird for BT. Then they wanted me to press 1 or 2, but I just ignored it.

I picked up, but all I got was quiet on the other end. After a moment, a robotic voice came through just saying goodbye. Quite odd.
