Got a call from a guy with a strange accent saying he was calling from British Gas about a climate charge refund. He mentioned some details from my bills, but only bits and pieces, then began asking for loads more info to sort out the refund. While he was talking, I quickly looked up the number online and saw some reviews here. I told him that if they’ve taken all that cash, they should already have the total, so just send a letter with a cheque or make a BACS payment. Then I ended the call. No follow-up yet!
