They said they were from EDF but it turns out this was an old SSE number that's not active anymore. So, I'm going to label it as "dangerous".

I just got a random call from SSE out of the blue, and I didn't ask for it at all. Didn't waste time and blocked their number straight away. Someone else mentioned before that trying to get them to delete your info is pointless since they just don’t bother with those requests. So, no chance I’m even trying to contact them about it.

This is about SSE, the energy provider. I first emailed them to complain because they rang me saying I wasn't in, which wasn’t true. At first, they sent an apology email, but after that they kept phoning me over and over on my mobile. I don’t answer during work hours, but they just wouldn’t stop calling all day long. I’ve had to block their number now. Honestly, they’re missing the entire point because it just feels like harassment, even though it’s about a different issue now - just another apology. Honestly, if you want to avoid dealing with idiots, stay well clear of SSE.

It appears I'm dealing with the energy provider SSE. I initiated a complaint via email due to their relentless attempts to contact me regarding an offer that held no interest for me. Initially, they responded with an apology through email. However, they then decided it was a brilliant idea to bombard my mobile with calls. I don’t respond to calls during work hours, yet they persisted in ringing me incessantly throughout the day. Consequently, I've had to block their number. They've completely failed to grasp the situation as they continue to pester me, albeit now under the guise of issuing another apology! If you prefer to avoid dealing with ineptitude, I'd suggest steering clear of SSE.
