Unwanted nuisance!

I got a call recently, but there was silence on the line when I answered. I'm inclined to think it was someone up to no good, probably a scammer.

This number belongs to the same group as the one finishing with 317. It's incredibly frustrating because no one ever answers the phone!

Didn’t bother to leave a message.

I received a call from this number, but there was no one on the other end, nor did they leave a voicemail. So, I decided to hang up.

I received a call from a woman who seemed to have a Perth accent. When I attempted to kindly turn down the conversation, she was quite impolite and started rambling on about various colours of insulation. It was not a delightful interaction at all. Her behaviour really suggested to me that they were unprofessional and probably up to no good.

Rang me five times in the week starting 7th July. Each time, when given the chance to leave a message, they opted against it. Thank goodness for my inbound call blocking settings for unfamiliar numbers!

Received a call with no one on the line—utterly quiet, and not a peep left behind. Feels a bit dodgy, to be honest. I've since added the number to my blocked list.

Fraudulent activity!

"Loft Insulation Scotland". I was curious about the colour of my loft insulation. They insisted they weren’t cold callers, which I found rather dubious. I simply wanted to ensure our insulation met energy efficiency standards, but they became quite defensive when I pressed for further information. It seems the "business" they claim to represent is non-existent. Just a heads up – Trading Standards Scotland has issued alerts regarding these so-called "companies". They've specifically noted how they dispatch supposed “surveyors” who are anything but, merely looking to peddle spray foam insulation. This can lead to serious complications, making it impossible to sell or remortgage your property. I’ve cut off all communication. They’re obviously up to no good.

I missed the call, they didn’t leave a message, and after doing some digging online, it appears to be a scam.

I received a call from this number, but my iPhone didn’t ring – it was muted, and they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. The digits look rather dodgy too; it’s not the typical format you’d expect from a main Perth number, like 300316.

I received a call from 01738 300316 on the 12th of July around 4 in the afternoon. My handset identified it as originating from Perth. I had no clue who it was and I don't have any acquaintances in that area. I opted to reject the call and subsequently added the number to my block list.

I simply couldn't grasp the purpose behind the caller's message, so I've decided to block the number.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from a housing repairs service, and I had actually scheduled a repair with them. I accidentally called back the number, which was private, only to be greeted by a recorded message identifying itself as housing repairs. Clearly dodgy characters—definitely worth blocking! They've rang me several times as well.

I received a call from 01738 300316 claiming that there could be a hazard with my loft insulation. Then, around half an hour later, I got another call from a number I couldn’t see, where the caller mentioned I had already chatted to her mate and she was trying to set up a visit for 7 this evening! I firmly declined! I've since barred the first number from getting through.

I didn't know the number was calling, though it seems to have rung me before. I opted to remain quiet (I reckon that's the most effective approach). He greeted me with a "hello" and then promptly disconnected.

Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a call that went straight to voicemail, but there was quite a bit of racket in the background. I could hear a woman with a Northern Irish accent chatting away to someone else nearby. After about four minutes, they hung up.

This number rang me twice this week. I chose not to respond the first time, but picked up on the second. There was a lot of chatter from a call centre on the line, but no one responded when I said “hello.” I decided to hang up and will be blocking this number for good.

I can’t believe I fell for the mix-up with the style number. Then she popped the question about whether I smoked or not.

This marks the fourth time this week that I've received a call from this number. I opted not to pick up, and it went straight to voicemail. The caller lingered on the line for a good few minutes before finally disconnecting. I reckon this needs to be brought to the attention of the authorities.

I've received a couple of calls this week regarding a complimentary energy assessment. I made it clear that we weren't interested, yet they kept insisting we absolutely needed it. They've mentioned they'll ring back again. I've now decided to block their number.
