My partner just got a call from someone claiming to be from yourvehicleconsultant. The bloke was really pushy, insisting we’d had a crash. After telling him firmly that our family hasn't had an accident since '72, he still kept going with his sales pitch. The call came from a local number, 01324300585. I gave it a ring back, and just like the call, it led me to a website that doesn’t even exist. It's pretty clear they’re scammers trying all sorts of tricks to grab your info. - caller: Yourvehicle consultant

For weeks now I keep getting about two calls every day from this firm on my BT Mobile. They never bother to leave a voicemail. I rang BT and they looked up the number for me. It turns out it’s linked to a company called yourvehicleconsultant.co.uk. When you ring, there’s an automated message that gives a dodgy website and says to opt out, you have to email [email protected]. No way I’m sending them any more info about me. BT told me there haven’t been many complaints about these calls, so I reckon the more folks who report it to BT, the quicker these annoying calls might stop. The number they’re calling from is 01738265370.

This number kept ringing me, but since I'm on the road most of the time for work, I couldn’t pick up. I’m really pleased I looked it up first though instead of just calling back. Definitely not going to answer again. Cheers for the heads up!

This number rang me up saying I’d been in a car crash (I don’t even drive!). When I said that, the person on the other end got really rude and aggressive. They wouldn’t let me speak to their boss either and was like, “is that the best you got, big man?!” Proper annoying and disrespectful.

Got a call from this number, and the person said it was about an accident I’d supposedly had with my car. I told them I hadn’t been in any car crash recently, then they said it’s not only about cars, but any kind of vehicle like bikes, buses or even trains. When I said I hadn’t had any accident at all, they just ended the call on me.
