Got a call from a nearby number about some accident that never happened to me. Didn’t bother answering again, just blocked it.

Today, my phone received a call from this number, and when I attempted to ring them back, I was met with a rather irritating voicemail. It instructed me to press 1 should I wish to opt out of further calls. Quite frankly, these sorts of unsolicited communications are incredibly frustrating, and it would be splendid if they were put to an end.
