Called on a Tuesday arvo with a proper English accent, asking for someone named Britney Morgan. Iv lived here for more than 30 years and never heard of any Britney around! She promised to take my number off their list. The number belongs to a company called Intrum, who deal with debts and collections in Reigate, and the lady definitely sounded like she was from Surrey! I’m gonna label this as harassment.

received a letter telling me to ring a number and give my bank info and pay 10 quid or 99 quid to clear it up. theres no way im handing over my bank details to anyone. if it was legit, i would have sent the 10 pound no problem. wouldve paid at the post office too if that was possible. i honestly have no clue what this is even about.

Not long ago, I got a letter from Intrum saying they’d taken over a debt from NatWest. The letter mentioned my loan number for the £3000, but they mixed that up with a separate £1500 overdraft, lumping both debts together under one account. They told me to contact Wescot to sort out a direct debit. Thing is, I’ve never had any letters or calls from Wescot or NatWest to confirm any of this. They also said they’d spoken with NatWest about my debt, which feels like a breach of my privacy. Thought it might be useful info for others. Carl Marrison

Intrum rings me every single day, but i'm not answering. I've made a small payment but they keep demanding more. Their letter says we don't have to speak to them if we don't want to, that we can just use the website. I've told them about my money troubles and asked them to only get in touch by email or letter, but they just ignore that, probably working with the others. At least my important bills are paid on time.
