If you visit www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk, they've got the tools to handle these nuisances who seem to repeatedly flout the law. It’s rather disheartening that these same individuals were highlighted on television earlier this year... and now it appears they’re slipping back into their old habits, doesn't it?

I've attempted to contact them numerous times, yet not once have they answered.

I’m trying to confirm if a Mr. G.R. resides next door, as a couple of individuals are keen to send him some correspondence. They require assurance that he’s still in that residence prior to dispatching the letter.

A rather posh young lady rang, claiming she was trying to locate two neighbours, both of whom she seemed to know by name and house number. She wanted to confirm whether they still resided there. We explained that we weren’t in a position to assist and ended the call. Interestingly, I've received a similar call from a different number before, which had raised a red flag, warning that it was a dodgy scheme and advising against sharing any personal information.

We don’t respond to this sort of thing, especially when it’s unsolicited. If we come across a number or receive a message from these individuals, we just ignore it. There’s nothing more to say. From what I’ve gleaned online, they seem to be affiliated with some sort of financial institution. I received a call regarding the initial loan, but it shouldn't have reached me since we are signed up with TPS and have zero connections to any loan companies. It echoes what others have mentioned-this feels like these callers are attempting to set up a sort of "neighbourhood watch" for soliciting. Quite questionable, if you ask me!

I’m trying to find out if Mr. P resides next door, as a few individuals intend to send something in the post to him and wanted to confirm that he still lives there before going ahead with it.

What a right bunch of bankers! They've been ringing from these numbers: 01737228603, 01737228554, 01737228565, 01737228633, 01737228555, and 08701642049. It's quite bothersome, really!

We chose not to respond to this call since we only engage with numbers we're familiar with or if someone leaves a message. No message was left in this instance. From what I could gather online, it appears these callers belong to a loan company called First Credit. They really shouldn’t have reached out to us as I’m enrolled in the Telephone Preference Service and have absolutely no business with any loan providers. Some of the other remarks suggest they're trying to get neighbours to report on one another, which seems rather dubious, doesn’t it? Quite unfair, to say the least!
