Got a call on my home phone with loadsa background noise like a call centre. The guy said he was from BT and wanted me to verify my mobile number. He spoke with an accent, sounded like maybe from India or Pakistan, and his English wasn’t great at all. I reckon it’s just another one of those scam calls. The number showed up as being from Penzance, Cornwall.
