Got a call from a lady claiming to be with the energy advisory board about loft insulation. She was really polite, but when I asked where she got my number from, she just wouldn’t say.

I decided to ring up O2 directly to verify whether the call I received was genuinely from them. To my surprise, I found out that the supposed 40% discount was nothing more than a hoax, and in fact, the person calling me was a fraudster.

Got a text from this number saying it was 02. They claimed my bill didn’t go through and if I didn’t update my payment info using the link they sent, my service would be cut off. The funny thing is, I’m not even an 02 customer.
