Big thanks to those who drop a comment about this number and all the other irritating calls we keep getting. It’s that same old loft insulation trick again, and it’s funny how they always seem to be calling right from our neighbourhood! Bit odd if you ask me. They’re really persistent, always on the phone and never taking a hint. Maybe they should consider finding an honest way to earn a crust instead of trying to con folks out of money they’ve worked hard for.

Yet another shifty character has been at it again, posing as someone from our neighbourhood, claiming they can replace our rather dated loft insulation! It’s quite baffling how they even figure out what’s lurking in our lofts and whether it’s time for an upgrade! I've lost count of how often they’ve attempted this little ruse, and without fail, they get the same response each time!

So, I got a call from this woman claiming to be from some place called Eco Hub or something like that. She started telling me about some "new study" that said glass fibre insulation is harmful and needs to be taken out. When I asked her where exactly her company was based and for more info on this so-called research, she just cut me off straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Industrial insulation companies kept calling me non stop, using both my landline and mobile! Seems like they were trying to reach every homeowner who might have fibreglass insulation in their loft. When I picked up the landline, they just hung up straight away! Later, they called my mobile and since I was expecting a call, I saw the missed call and called back. They told me who they were and what they were offering. I told them my loft had just been converted and insulated with rock wool, but then they hung up on me! Honestly, I thought that was quite disrespectful.

I told her to stop as I’ve already had three calls this week and asked to be taken off their list. Feels like I just wasted her time! When I asked her which postcode she meant, she said they operate out of South Wales but cover the whole UK.
